High School Peru Central HS Freshman forward Kara Hackett was named to the all-tournament team at the Buffalo State tip-off tournament after helping the Sage Colleges to a third-place finish. Hackett, who averaged 15.7 points and 11.0 rebounds in a 2-1 week, had 27 points and 17 rebounds as the Gators avenged a season-opening loss to Hartwick with a 62-52 win in the third-place game. She added 14 points and 11 rebounds versus Southern Vermont.
