High School Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk The Sage Colleges received a strong performance from junior newcomer Jessica Byerwalters in its season opener. Byerwalters scored 18 points on 8-for-9 shooting as the Gators dropped a 67-60 decision on the road against Hartwick in their opener. Byerwalters, who also connected on her only 3-point attempt, pulled down five rebounds and added a steal in a team-leading 34 minutes.
