The Sage Colleges junior Christina Gray went 2-0 in both singles and doubles play last week to earn Player of the Week. Gray lost her first match of the 2008 season to Michelle Podnecky of Castleton State and then proceeded to win 11 straight singles matches without dropping a set. In her 2009 opener, she avenged the loss to Podnecky with a 6-2, 6-2 win and also added a win over Yeshiva to stretch her singles streak to 13 matches. Gray also teamed with Erica Fitzgerald for a pair of wins at first doubles.
