The Skyline co-Player of the Week for men's basketball is Brendan Twomey. In a week that saw the Blue Knights move from third to first place in the Skyline standings with three key Skyline wins, Twomey led the way with 17.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 50% from three-point range. Playing the full 40 minutes at Manhattanville, Twomey led Mt. St. Mary back from a six-point deficit in the final 13 minutes as he shot a perfect 4-4 from the floor (3-3 from three point). He was also 5-6 from the line in the last minute to seal the win. Against Centenary, Twomey's seven three-pointers and game-high 23 points made him Mt. St. Mary's All-Time Points Leader with 1417 in his career to date. Finally in a battle for the top spot in the standings against Old Westbury, Twomey again played the full 40 minutes with two key three-pointers in the second half and a 15-footer at the one-minute mark to give the Blue Knights a four-point lead. He then added two free throws with 18 seconds left to put MSMC up by six points.
