SUNY College at Old Westbury junior left-hander Dan Fordyce tossed a four-hit, seven-inning shutout, helping the Panthers earn a sweep on the road against conference rival St. Joseph’s. Fordyce struck out six and did not walk a batter in improving to 2-0 on the season. His shutout enabled Old Westbury to split its four Skyline games (Farmingdale and St. Joseph’s) on the week.
