Sophomore outside hitter Max Howard was named to the Bard Invitational all-tournament team after helping the host Raptors to a runner-up finish. In four matches on the week, Howard averaged 2.54 kills, 2.77 digs and 0.46 service aces while hitting .242. He hit .333 (11-2-27) with 11 kills and 15 digs in a 3-1 win over Mount Ida. Against Skyline foe Polytechnic, Howard hit .375 (10-1-24) with 10 kills and seven digs. In a NECVA Metro match against Vassar, he had seven kills with one error in 21 attempts.
