In a 2-0 week (1-0 Skyline) for Yeshiva University, junior outside hitter David Kahana averaged 4.29 kills, 2.86 digs and 1.57 service aces while hitting .373 (30-11-51). Kahana recorded 14 kills and 10 digs as the Maccabees defeated Polytechnic 3-1 for their first-ever Skyline Conference victory and first NECVA Metro victory since 2002. He followed that performance with a triple-double - 16 kills, 10 digs, and 11 service aces in a 3-0 win over Albertus Magnus. Yeshiva improved to 4-4, already doubling its win total from all of last season.
