Senior tri-captain Kimberly Garrett led Purchase College to back-to-back Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Championships Saturday, garnering HVWAC All-Conference honors in the process. Garrett finished first in three individual events and teamed for a first-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay (2:10.01). In the 200-yard individual medley (2:32.75), she was dominant. She was equally dominant in the 50-yard breaststroke (34.33) and the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.62), setting several HVWAC meet records as the Panthers cruised to their second straight title. Earlier in the week, Garrett led Purchase to a win over Old Westbury in a Skyline Conference meet. She won two individual races against the Panthers (100-butterfly and 100-backstroke) and once again finished first with her relay team.
