After missing all of last season with an injury and sitting out Saturday night’s season-opener against Ramapo, Yeshiva University sophomore Simon Brookim saw his first career action on Sunday against Berkeley. He scored a team-leading 18 points in 21 minutes off the bench. Brookim was 8-for-11 (72.7 percent) from the floor and also pulled down three rebounds as the Maccabees picked up their first win of the season.
