Went 7-for-13 (.538) with three extra-base hits (two doubles, homer), as many runs scored and four RBI in a 4-0 stretch for the Mariners....added a pair of stolen bases, and is in the midst of a seven-game hitting streak.

Second-straight weekly accolade...in a complete-game, seven-inning shutout over Oneonta on Sunday, was one batter away from wrapping up a no-hitter...finished by allowing just three baserunners (H, HBP, BB) while fanning nine Red Dragons.

Rookie of the Week

Travis Zurita, Maritime
Freshman, Left Field, Ozone Park, NY/Poly Prep


Hit .643 (9-for-14) over a quartet of Privateers victories, scoring six times and driving in five...added three doubles and as many stolen bases to his credit.
