Went 2-0 in singles and doubles play last week to help the Golden Eagles to lock up the No. 2 seed in next week's Skyline Conference Championship...used a third-set super tiebreaker decision by a 10-5 count to earn a No. 3 singles win Tuesday night against Purchase, after collecting an 8-5 decision at the top doubles flight to start the evening...did not lose a game Saturday in No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles play versus sister school St. Joseph's-Brooklyn.

Rookie of the Week

Victoria Clay, Mount Saint Mary
Freshman, St. James, NY/Smithtown East


Was 2-1 on the week at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles...carded a 6-2, 6-3 victory in singles play Tuesday against Farmingdale State...scored a 7-5, 6-3 decision in singles action two days later against Hartwick.

Honor Roll

Both sophomore Michelle Carnovale of Mount Saint Mary and junior Denise Trerotola of St. Joseph's-Brooklyn were 2-1 last week at the top singles flight...for Trerotola, her singles victory Saturday against St. Joseph's-Long Island was her 16th career singles win -- giving her the program record in that category.
