Women's Soccer Standout Has Three Game-Winning Goals In 2013

After appearing in just five games last season before sitting out the remainder of the 2012 campaign due to injury, Trenkamp has led Maritime to a 3-1 start in 2013 following a 1-18 mark a year ago.

2013 Statistics (thru Sept. 12): 4 games, 6 goals, 1 assist, 13 points, 30 shots, 3 game-winning goals

2013 Season Highlights: Tallied a hat trick on Sept. 7 in the Privateers’ 3-1 win over John Jay…scored both of Maritime’s goals in its 2-1 victory against Thomas on Aug. 31…netted the game-winning goal on Sept. 4 in a 3-0 win over Lehman…tabbed the Skyline Player of the Week on Sept. 9 as well as the ECAC Metro Region Player of the Week. 

Career Highlights: Her 59 goals are the most in program history…second-team All-Conference selection in both 2009 & 2011…earned Skyline Player of Week honors on Oct. 31, 2011…scored 20 goals in 2011, a program single-season record…has compiled 11 game-winning goals…has tallied five goals in a game on two separate occasions.

In The Classroom: Trenkamp is a Mechanical Engineering major and earned the SUNY Chancellor’s Award in 2009 for athletic and academic excellence…named to the Dean List for the spring semesters of 2010 & 2011 and to the Admiral’s List in the fall of 2009 for achieving a grade point average above 3.5.

Activities: Currently a member of Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society…Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) representative from 2009-10…participated in the Military Sealift Command (MSC) Internship program in 2011 & 2012.                        

Did You Know?: Her two older sisters played collegiate soccer at Drexel and Wesley, respectively.
