Seven Skyline Conference basketball teams advanced to the postseason.  The Purchase men's basketball team earned the school's first NCAA tournament bid in any sport while Farmingdale State and Mount Saint Mary both earned NCAA bids in women's basketball.  The St. Joseph's men and women, Mount Saint Vincent  women and Old Westbury men all earned ECAC Tournament bids.
