2009-10 Skyline Conference Swimming Championship Results

PURCHASE, N.Y. - Mount Saint Mary College freshman Brianna Perazella won three individual events while fellow freshmen Kassie Kayal and Jamie Testa won one event each to lead the Blue Knights to the 2010 Skyline Conference women's swimming championship.  Mount Saint Mary compiled 123.5 team points, finishing comfortably ahead of second-place Purchase (90).

Perazella, who captured the 1,000-yard freestyle (11:19.45 - meet record), the 200-yard freestyle (2:06.74) and the 200-yard individual medley (2:22.31), earned Skyline Conference Swimmer of the Year honors after accumulating 21 points at the championship.  Kayal, who captured the 500-yard freestyle (6:06.51), and Testa, who won the 100-yard butterfly (1:07.22), shared Co-Rookie of the Year honors after recording 14 points each.

Mount Saint Mary College head coach Mary Damm was selected as the Skyline Conference Coach of the Year in Women's Swimming after leading the Blue Knights to a 14-1 dual meet record (5-0 Skyline) and the Skyline championship title.  St. Joseph's received the Team Sportsmanship Award for outstanding sportsmanship in women's swimming throughout the season.
