CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Coming off an unbeaten season in conference play, Polytechnic Institute of NYU has been selected as the unanimous preseason favorite in the Skyline Conference women's volleyball coaches' preseason poll. The Fighting Blue Jays, who went 25-10 overall last season, recorded 10 first-place votes and 100 points to claim the top honor.

Polytechnic Institute of NYU sophomore middle blocker Victoria Kalvert was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Year in women's volleyball. Teammate Corey Loupee became the third straight NYU-Poly player to win Rookie of the Year honors. Sage head coach Lisa Gallagher was recognized as Coach of the Year.

BRROKLYN, N.Y. - Polytechnic Institute of NYU fought off four match points en route to a 3-2 (16-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-20, 17-15) win over The Sage Colleges in the championship match of the Skyline Conference women's volleyball tournament. The Fighting Blue Jays earned their first Skyline title and their first NCAA Tournament bid in any sport.
